Never Received Package - package delivery

Hello. I ordered a package from an online store exactly fifteen days ago. The system from this store accidentally cut off my apartment number. I was supposed to have received a post card from UPS saying that I needed to contact them to change it. I received no such postcard. Apparently my package got sent to a center here in town. Eventually I received a call while I was in class and got a voicemail that I needed to come pick up my package. When I called them, the lady was very nice and helpful. She informed me once I gave her the right address, she could send it right back to me and it would be there within the next business day and that I would be receiving a phone call before that. I did not receive a phone call and the package did not arrive. I waited a few days to give them a chance, but I still did not get the package. I called again and the man who answered the phone informed me that the package was being sent back to the sender and that there was nothing he could do about it. I told him that I already paid for it, but he only could tell me to call the company I ordered from. I did, and that company was very nice and streamlined the process very well. They were surprised by the actions of the United Parcel Service and were very understanding and is currently sending me a new item. My only complaint is that I wish they weren't using UPS again.
