Vendor too busy for me!?!

I bought a living social voucher for a papaya facial. 20 calls later I got them to give me an appointment - but they were too busy to have me so I had to stick with the only available slot they offered. They suggested I book the slot, to see if something more convenient opens later and reschedule. Several calls to Living Social at this point and a few emails later, the only help they could offer was ten deal bucks, a suggestion that I gift the voucher to someone else, or work it out with the vendor. Since the vendor is providing a slot, it's outside their refund policy to help.

Ofcourse, now that I am trying to reschedule the appointment (cant really go at the only slot they offered on phone, tomorrow) and have called their location almost 30 plus times... No RESPONSE from them. Their phone always goes on a recorded message. It seems they are so full and busy - that their phone is ALWAYS unanswered. Ofcourse, DUE TO THE HIGH CALL VOLUME, you cant leave a voice mail, and are supposed to visit their website. Every single email on their website is non functional and bounces back. Luckily, they sent me a promotional email three days ago - asking me to refer other customers for a 10 dollar discount, and that is the only email that works. I left several emails on that email, but again, no response. Now my appointment is on for tomorrow, but I WONT GO! Obviously, but I wont bother to reschedule either. Yes, I lost money, but this is how I look at it - if you are going to act so busy and unavailable for me, why should I bother. I wish I had known they are so horrible before I bought the deal. Looks like this was a marketing gimmick for them - get as many people to buy deals on various websites - and then just become UNAVAILABLE. Nice business idea - they probably ripped tons of dollars off clients like us - who never even used their service. Whats worse is my living social voucher has been marked USED by them already! And, ofcourse, Living Social wont intervene or help with a refund. Horrible. Do not get trapped into buying a deal with them, as many of us did. You would wish that a business would appreciate customers who were willing to try out their services... But guess most businesses today are just interseted in a quick buck, not long standing customer loyalty.
