I've bought several Livingsocial deals without problem but, unfortunately, after this experience, will not buy any others. We purchased a "junk removal" deal in June from a local vendor. I have tried to call the vendor numerous times and only get voicemail. I've left messages with no response. The last time I called, "the mailbox was full." The webpage linked to the voucher is gone; the company facebook page hasn't been updated in almost a year. After 3 emails to living social explaining the situation, I requested a refund as this company is either closed or about to close. Living Social response?"For specific questions related to a deal and redeeming voucher, it%u2019s usually best to speak directly with the merchant. They can share better details about practices and services provided." Wow! Why didn't I think of that! But there is one problem... THEY DON'T ANSWER THEIR PHONE! Are there actual people working in the living social "customer service" department or computers that respond with worthless suggestions when certain words are detected? You've lost my business and as many people as I can take with me or prevent from using you.
