In Less than 4 months of purchase our 2011 Ford Edge had visible RUSTING tailpipes. We polished them once and could still see the rust. We took the vehicle to the dealership and was told that was quite normal and didn't interfer with the vehicles performance. They took steel wool and polish to the tailpipes and consider the problem fixed. Per the Dealership and Ford Motor Service this is not a problem and can be fixed with continual maintence. Over 40k for a vehicle and this is acceptable.
