I purchased a 2001 Ford Focus in October but not from this same dealership, and have had several services fixed on the vehicle. It is at 38000 miles and the wire harness burned out on the vehicle. There are several recalls on the vehicle. It accelerates dangersously and I drive a three year old back and forth to school on a daily basis. I fear for my life as well as the childs.
I have tried to get out of this vehicle and it seems fairly impossible to do so... Ford is trying to push me back into a Focus.
I am not paying for repairs to the vehicle although I have an extended warranty. I was advised by ford that the wire problem is not covered under my warranty.
I also have had to pay for car rentals every time I am left without a vehicle due to a service problem.
I need help.
