Verbally abused Mistreated and Lied to by the business that doesnt give a dam

After being hit by a drunk driver, I went to Norm Reeves to get help in purchasing a car. I purchased a used 01 Honda Civic Ex. I was worried that I might have to bring in more money and told them I could not because of my situation. I was told they don't do that anymore and I was promised by Mike Finn/sales, that would not happen. I was told 6 days later that Honda could not finance me, but they found another lender. I called back on Friday, July 25 to make sure everything was ok to come in and sign.

I told Lynn/secretary of Finance, my fears of bringing the car back and more money having to be brought in. She spoke with Lisa in Finance and was told to tell me she found another lender w/no more money down, same 5 yr term, and they actually lowered my payments. She spoke w/Lisa and told me to come in tomorrow at 2:15 to sign the new deal. Lisa also left me a voice mail stating "Kristy, I don't know why you are worried about having to bring the car back. When we re-work a deal it is always to the benefit, not the detrament of the customer".

When I arrived my friend was with me as we had plans for that afternoon. I asked for Lisa and she would not see me. The General Sales Manager, John Dalpe, took us in his office and immediately began some speech about focusing on the positive. He then tried to sell me a new car, way lower model w/no features, for more money per month and longer loan. See, they are having a clearance on 03's now and that would be more profitable to him. I said what happened to the deal I was promised on the phone by Lisa? He called me indignant. I was not being indignant, but I began to sob.

My friend pointed out the sales moto regarding customer service and not insulting customers and he called her indignant as well. John asked for the keys and went outside to the car. He came right back with Johnny Chase in Finance. I started to explain the situation and asked what happened to the better deal I was promised. I began to sob as now I have no car to get to work and they wouldn't give my money back as they already cashed my check. He told me I have to leave the premises as I was causing a scene and this wasn't a "psychiatric ward" and it was "bad for business."

My friend and I sat under the blazing sun with all my stuff from the car on the parking lot floor waiting for a ride. John Dalpe came outside with Mike Finn and asked if this was the guy who lied to me. I said the people who promised me the better deal were Lynn and Lisa. Mike asked me what happened and I began to tell him. I started sobbing again and John said, "See, your being weird again, I can't work with you, " smirked and walked away.

I was lied to, verbally abused, and mistreated. That dealership doesn't care because I was the little guy. He just wanted a higher commission or a more profitable sale and doesn't think the little guy will do anything about it.
