Cutrubus Motors of Layton Utah charged me with a bill on my trade in vehicle several weeks after the deal was made. The vehicle I purchased was in worse shape than the one I traded in. The sales manager Wayne, was very rude when I came in months later to have my oil changed. This is when he tried to charge me for the repairs they made on the vehicle I traded in. He lied descriptively to make it appear as though I agreed to this before hand.
The reason for the trade in was because of the repairs in the first place. Had I known I was going to be charged for them 2 months later, I would have just paid for the repairs and taken my vehicle home. Because of the repairs I decided to trade it in and get a newer vehicle. The vehicle I bought from them broke down a few days after I bought it. I had towing charges, repairs and a rental vehicle for a week because the breakdown happened on my way to family vacation. The charges I incurred were much more than what they tried to charge me for the repairs on the vehicle I traded in.
Wayne, the sales manager at Cutrubus Motors threatened to take me to court saying "if you don't pay this bill I'll see you in court" to pay the bill because he absolutely refused to agree that we had an "as is" trade/sale in the first place.
