November of my husband bought a car from what was then called Micco Motors. We were trading in a Pontiac Aztec we had purchased from them the year before. We wanted to upgrade our vehicle and because they worked with us previously we wanted to got back to them for a second time. We traded in the Aztec for a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe.in the contract they agreed to pay off the remainder of the loan to the lien holder for what we owed on the Aztec. As this is common practice when you trade a vehicle in to a dealership, when there is still money owed on a vehicle, we thought there would be no problems. Also in the contract my husband signed with "Micco Motors" and the "salesman, " Brian Dreggors, they were to fix the slight blemishes on the Santa Fe we bought from them along with supplying us with the missing rearview mirror.
But they NEVER paid off the loan and now my husband is left "holding the bag." We have a repossession on his credit now, because it was never paid. They changed the company name from Micco Motors to Motorsports Unlimited, and we were told when we contacted them that they were no longer responsible for paying off our debt or fixing any of the other problems that were originally agreed upon. This all happened in under 2 weeks of us trading in our vehicle.
