First off, they're robbing peter to pay paul. I have first hand information after referring 4 car sales to include 2 on our own... The first sign of trouble was that after 2 months, our trade-in wasn't paid off. The only reason we finally got them to pay it off was that we threaten to retrieve the "tradededvehicle" from "GET THIS" one of their sales persons who like the vehicle so much, he purchased the car. As an employee he had to wait over 2 months and is possibly still waiting for his title. Before realizing the mistake that we had made with this dealer, we had already purchased another vehicle and immediately sense that something was wrong when 90% of the staff or salesman begin to quit the job. We begin contacting by phone (only takes voice mails and never will return your calls) that we had to address the issue of getting our second vehicle paid off and getting the title for the new vehicle we had purchased. Needless to say, even after contacting weekly concerning the title of the new vehicle, our finance company still does not have the title to this vehicle and mind you, they received a check a week after we purchased the vehicle. After talking to many individuals former and present who were employed with this company, some have agreed that something is going on and many other customers are complaining about their pay-offs and titles to cars that were finance through Gateway One.
This owner is no stranger to corrupt behavior, formerly Horizon Motors, Peach Motors and others. They have approximately 5 other dealerships that are under this owners name. All can be viewed under Gravity Motors... Buyers beware... You will probably not receive your title or please don't trade. Rick the General Manager is Horrible... The only way you can get him is that you walk right into his office... Our last deal finally got paid after someone purchased the trade-in (2 months) later. As far as the current 2007 Mercedes E350, they have stated that they paid the auction or floor plan/bank but, no one can give me a check number of the transaction. All of this is a sure sign of financial troubles and someone is going to be really screwed when they file for bankruptucy SOON I've already secured and attorney and My purpose is to inform as many people as possible to stay away from Gravity Motors and all of it's dealerships as they are on the way out!!!
