I patronized expedias support and was appauled from the horrible knowledge i'd together. I need everyone that should you anticipate with them "don't".

I reserved my flight and rentalcar through them and wound up stranded at chicago airport christmas eve 2008.

Our flight was good, bay area to chicago. I had been then instructed to attend outside within the freezing cold to get a taxi to choose me up and take me to advantage rental car workplace off-site. I waited 45 minutes but still no taxi, and so i contact info and have the phone number to advantage since the one on my paperwork fails. And so i contact and get a saving that puts me on hold for over a and finally hangs up. Within the meantime my friend whom iam traveling with calls expedia and it is placed on contain the entire period iam looking to get your hands on benefit.

Finally we get a customer support rep from expedia and she puts us back on hold while she trys to obtain a store of benefit. Another around 30 minutes later she becomes returns and tells us that there's nothing she may do. I informed her that was unacceptable and that i desired to speak with a, therefore she puts me onhold. Around 30 minutes later my friend begins contacting other rental car companies to see if we will get an automobile some how, and we're told that there's not an automobile available. Its christmas eve and we've now been in the airport three hours and still have nothing.

After an hour and twenty minutes on hold awaiting a she finally gets about the phone and shows me that benefit went bankrupt a few months before, and there's nothing expedia may do. So we were stuck in chicago although we were suppose to drive to detroit that day for holiday. I told the supervisor which was not acceptable and she needed to get another rental car for all of us. She then explained they knew they went broke 8 weeks ago and it was not there obligation to notify their clients. She said that it was my responsibility to verify all concerns. I subsequently advised her that i'd a proof from expedia two days previous stating everything was good. She then explained that she could do nothing and hung on me.

So please please please pass this along to anybody trying to use expedia...
