To whom it may concern; On Sept, 9 i were recently a customer of rad performance, I went to get 2 tires mounted & balanced. Afther retrieving my car, they come back and tell me that studs wer broken on my wheel. I asked were they broken allready, he says one was broken and we broke the other one. I believed that if one was allready broken before you started then you should have shown or let me know of the problem before you started working. Iwas stuck in between a rock and ahard place, even though i smelled somthing fishy. (i went along with it, i only had three lugs left)
Afther performing this so called work. They said that it would $80, mount&balanced$40, replace studs$40. I believed i should have been responsible for the one that was supposed broken, but not for the one they admitted broken.
Afther leaving the shop I inspected my wheels and noticed no studs were any newer than the next. I also called various tire shops in the area and they said they charge by the rim not the stud, at $30 a rim. I believe that no stud work was done on my wheel and i was charged for a stud or studs that that they were responsible four. I believe that this is a scam that is ran on there customers, i believe im not the first and want be tha last. (invoice #9187)
