Ripoff pay your payment and they will steal repo your car texas

My husband bought a car from MG Motor Co. They sold the note to a third party called alamo financial. When alamo financial acquired the note to the car we recieved a letter and a payment book. So we began making our payments to them. About 2 months after we began sending them checks and they began cashing them I recieved a letter that we were behind on our payments and they were gonna pick up our car. I called and spoke with a woman named Lupita (she could hardly speak English) I explained to her that all the checks I had sent for payments had been cashed and I would be happy to get copies from my bank, she informed me they hadn't been cashed by Alamo Financial because they never got them. She wanted me to pay $685 (2 payments) or they were gonna take the car. I paid the money because we had to have the car.

After that incident I sent every payment certified mail. She refused to sign for them for like a week so that they could charge us a $25 per day late fee. One day I left my job to go to lunch and my car was gone, they had repoed it because I we supposedly owed them $50 in late fees. (they had never let us know this) i had to pay the late fees plus a $325 tow fee to get the car back (they had towed it 2 miles). 2 months later my husband called me from work and told me that they had taken the car from his job, when I called to ask why. They had never recieved my payment due on the 2nd this was the 4th of the same month and they had cashed the check on the 31st. I again told them they had cashed it and I could prove it, they refused to accept proof Lupita said that she didn't have to.

In order to get the car back I had to pay that months payment again as well as another $325 tow fee. (this time they towed it 10 miles). Two weeks later the alternator and battery went on the car and I paid $450 to get it fixed. A week after I fixed the car I went outside on a Sunday morning to go to work and the car was gone, A call to the police station confirmed that the car had been repoed in the middle of the night by Alamo Financial. I called on Monday spoke with Lupita and she said yeah that they had taken the car, their reason almost laughable. She claimed they had taken over the note in December (true) it was now October (true) and that we had never paid any payments on the car and they were losing money.

Yeah right by that time the payments I had been should have totalled about $3600 they had all that money plus an additional $1017 in "missed payments" and $650 in tow fees for towing a car a total of 25 miles. So I ask you who was losing money here. Not them. I went to another car lot bought a better car, with lower payments, it was also in house financing but they are everything a car lot should be.in house financing is to help people with bad credit not make their lives miserable. So to Alamo Financial I say goodbye and good riddance one day you will get sued and when that lawsuit starts I plan to be a part of it. Until then drive that car up you ASS!!
