Multistate Transmissions, Mr Transmissions
Ripoff, Never Honored warrentee, never fixed transmission properly

(AKA Mr Transmissions) REALLY Sucks! I have a 323I 2000 and the transmission went @ 91K, so I took it to them and they showed me that the transmission was bad, they drained the fluid and it came out with the consistancy of water and it had metal filings in it.

So I said rebuild it, they did (or so I Thought)...

I was transferred back to the east coast recently and the same problem that I had the first time with my tranny was back but additionally it was leaking also.

So I took it to a transmission shop that specializes in BMW, mercedes and so on, from a referral from a family friend who BTW bought my fathers garage 24 years ago (my father had it for 35 years before that) so I trust him unequivacally.

They took it apart and told me that the transmission was never rebuilt... And they have been doing these kind of trannys for a VERY long time.

They showed me the whole tranny when it was disassembled and explained everything that SHOULD of been done and showed me how they know it was never "Properly" worked on.

So I had them do the work, 4 Days later I picked up the car and they put it on the lift and showed me everything and gave me an itemized bill... Multistate never gave me an itemized bill and I thought that was strange...

Now, I spent $2700,00 at multistate to have the trans rebuilt and it never was.

Then I spent (Because of Multistates either incompetence or them just being rip off artists) $3000.00 at the place on the east coast.

Now the car shifts excellent and they also upgraded the software that multistate never did.

Moral of the story, never trust multistate transmissions or never go there as you will be ripped off!

And that person who runs multistate transmission on ogden ave in naperville illinois, al, is the biggest b/s artist i have ever met. He will be nice to your face but as soon as something happens he is a a*hole!

Multistate Transmissions are all around Illinois, and as well as Mr Transmission (owned by the same company).

There is a Garage (Maximum Automotive) Really nice guys, I used to buy parts off the internet and have them install them without them *ing about it they just charged me labor and they do GOOD WORK.

Now this was after I had the tranny rebuilt (or so I thought): I was talking to the owner, and I told him that the tranny went and he asked where I had it service and I told him Multistate Transmission which by the way is in the same auto mall as Maximum automotive, he just looked at me and put his hand on my shoulder and said really sarcastically " Good Luck" and he told me that they do not know what they are doing. If he known me before it happened he would of given me the name of a Tramsmission shop the specializes in BMW's, he told me.

I tried to get the warrentee honored through Multistate (AKA Mr Transmissions) but they just gave me the run-around and I even furnished them with all of the information of the transmission shop in NJ and they never contacted them.
