Ok, I'm going to make a long story short, but here's how it went down... My friend and I went into the restaurant and standed in the front for about 5 minutes before a hostess even approached us to be seated.
We were following her to the table she wanted us to go to and when asked if we could sit somewhere else, she quickly responded, "NO!" Giving no explaination. We sat at the table anyway, but were a little upset. What made it even worse is that no one came to our table for about 10 minutes.
Finally, a young girl asked us, "Do you want anything to drink or what?" I wanted to get up and leave right then, but figured she must have had a bad night. So we said yes we would like to have something to drink and all we wanted was sodas. 5 minutes later we got our sodas, but we found some butter on the outside of my friend's glass. We were very disgusted, and immediately flagged down the next person we found, which was not our waitress, and asked for a new glass.
Come to find out, this person doesn't even speak English, and they told our waitress to help us, which she did... 5 minutes later. Finally we got our drink situation straightened and we ordered our dinner. We wanted appetizers, but we figured we wouldn't get to our dinner for another hour if we ordered them.
I ordered the pork poterhouse and my friend ordered a cobb salad. I got up to wash my hands before dinner and was met by another surprise in the restroom. There were bees flying ALL over the place. I did not want to stay in there with the bees, so I obviously didn't get to wash my hands, nor go to the restroom. I went back to my table and WAITED... And WAITED... And WAITED.
After about 20 minutes, I asked my waitress how our food was coming along. She responded, "Well, the porterhouse is pork, so the cook time on it is at least 15 minutes." Understandable, considering I don't want trichinosis (I hope I spelled it right?) alive in my pork. So when we finally got our food, I was amazed to see that my porterhouse was still raw. You'd think that after being on the grill for over 20 minutes, it wouldn't be raw, right? Or was it on the grill for that long? That wasn't EVEN the worse part.
The worst part was that my friend's cobb salad had a little present in it. A big fat cockroach!!! I called our waitress to the table and asked to talk to a manager. Out came a young man, wearing the same clothes as our waitress, and asked us if we had a problem at our table.
Well, I started from the beginning and told him everthing. His response was that he would take care of the bill, but he didn't have any realy authority, so I would need to call the general manager the next day. Why would you have someone running the restaurant with no authority? What kind of business are they running here? We immediately got up and left that place, never to return.
The next day, I called to speak to the general manager, who could barely speak English as well. You won't believe his excuse... He asked us if anyone around us looked like they bought in cockroaches, or if we brought it in ourselves? I was amazed and just hung up the phone. I never want anything to do with that place, and I tell all my friends/family about it. DISGUSTING!!!
