My dorm mates and I went to the Hojo’s in Saranac Lake, NY tonight. We were greeted by our waitress CURSING at us because the majority of our table each wanted a milkshake. This followed by rude remark after rude remark. All of our burgers were burnt and she messed up every single one of our toppings. She continued to sigh and curse when we politely told her what we ordered on our 2 for 1 burgers (not to mention there were small children surrounding our table of well behaved college students). My boyfriend was the only one of our group who did not order a burger and she forgot to put his order in, which he did not receive until about an hour after the rest of us ordered. I enjoy going to restaurants all over and have never had a waiter make me and my company feel so badly about a simple order. Management there seemed unsurprised to hear the complaints we had and at first refused to take our orders off of the bill. I am not surprised by this only because she had told us her mother works at this establishment. It was my first time ever going to Hojo's and I promise I will not return. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
