My bank refuse to allow me to make stop payment on money orde

Livid with my bank of over 19 years today! Back in July I went and got 4 money order from Wells Fargo. I sent the money order to a business that same month. Shortly after, I was advise that attorney general and SEC had shut the business down. I was told to call my bank to see if the money order have been cashed, if not place a stop payment on the money order. I immediately called my bank. Lucky for me none of the money orders have been cashed. That was because the SEC step in and confiscated all their books and accounts. I went into my bank to place a stop a payment, was told by the manager I needed to come during central business time. I live in CA pacific standard time. Does to make sense. They told me I couldnt come in on Saturday either because the office in the east coast was not open. I was mad so I called the number on my money order. I spoke to the department that handled the stop payment. They told me I could go in any branch to have them stop payment on the money order. They even told me that I can go in on Saturdays. That Wells Fargo is about servicing their customers. Happy and reassured that my bank was still on my side, I went on Saturday. Great guy help me, however I had to sit for almost an hour while he was on the phone with the department in the east coast to confirm that I can stop payment on the money orders. Told the banker I needed to go and come back because I had an appt. He assured me to come back later & we can finish up the process. When I came back his manger helped me. She told me she could not approve the stop payment. She told me because I did not lose, misplace or destroyed the money order. I told her that was stupid. I shared with her that the company I made it out to was shut down for fraud. Told her it was not like I wanted for that to happen. She than told me that it was from corporate that they could not place a stop payment on money orders for this company. I told her how dumb that was and that they disappoint me. I told her to close all my accounts and that I was going to take my business elsewhere. She said ok, but you have a CD account with us which doesnt mature until october, we will charge you $400. I was about to blow up by that point. These crooks, I put my money in their bank, when I need my money they try their best to make it difficult for me in every way possible! I demanded corporate's number. I was angry, my husband and many others that I know had went to their banks and all was able to stop payment on their money orders. Me I had the biggest run around and no success. And all these years I told them that my bank was number 1 and that my bank was good to me! What a big slap in the face. Today I see the true ugly side of my bank. They treated me as if I was the criminal, the one that is doing the frauding. How is it that bank could not be on my side during this time of need for me? First of all it was money not theirs! What kind of customer service is that? How are they protecting my money? How are they looking out for my interest? Long story short, corporate was no help! People, I have to share my story because I am a true believer now that Wells Fargo suck and they are blood suckers. They do not care about customer service. They do not have their customer's back, they could care less if you are down and out. They had no sympathy for me and the ordeal that I had went thru. They just plain did'nt care about me. I will never recommend this bank to anyone. When October comes, I will walk in to the branch and pull all of my money out. Keep in mind I am a PMA member of theirs. That means a high value customer. So I do have a significant amount of money with them to earn that title. But with that I still get treated like dog poo. Plus when I said I will close all my account, the manager didnt care. She said ok I will do it for you. Plain and clear. They don't need my business, they don't need me as a customer. So this year 2012 is my last year as a Wells Fargo Customer. I will close all my accounts and will never ever be a fan of theirs ever again! I am sure with the amount of money I will be pulling out there will be many other banks out there who will be happy to take me... But this experience have leave me questioning why I would even want to keep my money in the bank? They just take it and use it to their advantage and when you try to use or take your money you get charge left and right. They just act like its their money. Now I see why some people dont trust the banks. Wells Fargo, after 19 years as a loyal customer you sure did not appreciate my business with you at all. I see how you are to customers now. And I can see by reading the other complaints, I am not the only one that got screwed over by you. If we all take our money out, lets see how you will like that? Dont think because you are a big bank that you dont need customers. I truly am disgusted with Wells Fargo!
