This company is committing fraud — they are taking money from my bank account under false pretenses. They claimed to be an add-on to my insurance, but I never signed up with them and don't know who they are; it appears they got my information through the healthcare marketplace. They also claimed to be a student loan forgiveness company, used my account, and took $300.00 for "student loan forgiveness," then said I needed to pay them $44.90 a month for 220 months.
Please report this company. The address they gave me traces back to a UPS Store mailbox in West Palm Beach, Florida — I have included some of their information below.
For reference, their own message states: "Complaint/Review — Unified Caring Association Consumer Report. If you have questions, please contact our Member Services Department at 855-556-5049 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm ET)." It also states that any insured benefits included in the UCA Membership are NOT major medical or comprehensive health coverage, and are neither Minimum Essential Coverage under the ACA nor Workers' Compensation Insurance under state law — the benefits are limited and include a pre-existing conditions limitation.
