Complaint / Review
Chase Manhattan Mortgage
Ripoff created double loan on same property and trustor paid payments Nationwide

Loan was first signed on 5/1/01 by deceased husband. 1st payment was sent 6/30/01 and for 1 yr. Thereafter there were two mortgage statements each month. I didn't detect the two separate loan #'s and therefore paid two separate payments for one yr. Prior to discovery.
The loan originator was a" crooked family member" who is a member of Federal Mortgage Lenders and created double loan causing #1 loan to default after two months into loan payments.

We paid a total of $12,000 extra on loan which was not credited to #1 loan and default occurred without notification.

Upon contacting lawyer, he played into game and upon death of husband, created another default, even though the payments were current.

Loan is currently in default again under secondary loan #.

How do these mortgage brokers get away with creating two loans on same property? Where is the other payment money?
Help me solve this problem.

I am an insurance investigator and have found out that there are many other people here in NV. With same problem with Chase.

Can they be stopped from taking homes away from innocent people?

Where is the class action lawsuit from State of NY vs. Chase and its entities?
