I submitted my loan modification paperwork to Chase in December. After numerous phone calls that I made and resubmittals of the same documents I was put on the trial period payments commencing in June. The end of October I received a letter and loan modification agreement telling me I was approved for a final loan modification. I signed the agreement and they received it on November 1. It has been over two months and Chase has not taken my loan modif. Out of draft status so the account can be maintenanced (finalizing the loan modification). Until that happens my loan modification will not go into effect.in the mean time I am receiving letters from the Chase Collections Dept. That I am in default and owe several thousands of dollars. Please note I was never late and paid the full amount of my original mortgage each month. I started paying the trial period payment amount I was instructed by Chase to pay once I was put on the trial period. I have been told by Chase Reps. To continue paying what's indicated on the loan agreement paperwork. No one can tell me what the delay is in processing my loan modification.in fact most of the phone Reps. Are clueless and are unable to provide any answers. I'm afraid the Chase Collections Dept. Will foreclose on me since I had spoken to that Dept. And they said until your loan modif. Gets maintenanced, you will be considered in default since you are not paying the full monthly loan amount. Does Chase plan on finalizing my loan modification or are they planning on delaying the processing so the Collections Department can foreclose on me? Please help me... I will be devasated if I lose my house!!!
