I need assistance in resolving a pharamacy related issue involving a RX that was submitted to the wrong insurance carrier, and now i received a bill in the mail that I owe the full amount of the RX.
The pharmacy billed the claim to workmen's compensation insurance which the RX has nothing to do with.
When I filled the RX at this store there were 4 medications on one single RX submitted and all were billed to my hmo insurance. The pharmacy submitted claim of one of these medications to workmen's compensation insurance, whom rejected the claim due to this is a prescription from my dermatologist has nothing to do with workmen's compensation insurance.
My hmo medial insurance is on file with CVS, and when I contacted the insurance
They stated CVS needs to submit claim to them to process since it has been a year since this RX was filled. I was not notified till recently about this bill received a phone call.
I just need for corporate pharmacy at CVS to help me with submitting claim to my insurance carrier so they pay the RX.
Thanks for your attention to this matter,
Elizabeth Perez
