In trying to purchase a home, I was told I had a credit card bill / balance which needed to be paid in full before puchasing my home. I was hit with a bill in the amount of $3000.00 by Aspire credit card company without ever even filling out an application to apply for this credit card.
On numerous occasions, I have contacted Aspire in requesting a copy of the application. It is a year later and I have yet to receive anything from this company other than letters of APR Finance rates and more fees such as $75.00 for an annual fee; $6.50 per month for a monthly fee as a participant.in turn I also receive late fees for not paying the per month and annual fees according to their terms. I had to pay off this credit card to purchase my home.
I want my money back... I am at wits end. No one at Aspire will send me information regarding the orginial application to prove identity fraud and I need such in order to prove my case through the Attorney General's office, Better Business Bureau and the media.
Any suggestions?
Sincerely
