I have had the Aspire Visa card since 1999. My limit is $3000 and my payments have never been 30 days late. This year Aspire eliminated personal customer service and made their system completely automated. With the decrease in customer care they have Increased my interest rate to 35%!
Aspire also started their "NEW" annual fee $85, which, they added to my bill without notice. You would think that with all these extra charges Aspire would report my on time payments to the credit companies Equifax, Experian and Trans Union - But Nooo
I wrote an email to Aspire customer service politely requesting a decrease in APR and "NEW" annual fee and asked if they could report my 3 years of good standing to my credit beaurous. They responded with a brief No to all three requests!
If I am going to pay an astronomical $90 a month in interest on a $3000 balance I expect better customer service. Save yourself some money and a whole lot of frustration and avoid Aspire Visa like the plague - all they practice is customer usery
