Do not appy for an Aspire Visa Card. I have had an Apire Visa Card with a high interest rate of 27% with no annual fee for the past four years and now they are increasing their rates and charging an annunal fee of $85 beginning in March. When was I informed, in a letter I received just today March the 4th. I have never been late paying this card and my balance is less than 25% of my credit limit. Aspire Visa is a rip off; even if you just want to establish credit or have poor credit this card in not worth your time. ASPIRE VISA IS A BIG RIPOFF! Most credit cards have no annual fee and low interest rates now; I suggest Fleet and CITI Bank. Household bank has low interest rates of 4.5 for balance transfers and this rate is applicable until the balance is paid off. Do not get an aspire visa and cancel your account, they rip off their customers like used car salemen.
