I can join the list of people that OCWEN has done wrong to! I had my mortgage from Town and Country and OCWEN bought it. They started right away with the letters that said I was under insured and they were putting their own insurance on the house. Then I got layed off from work and the mortgage check bounced and we called them before they even knew it.
We told them what was happening and asked them to resubmit the check, (this is law in my state.) They refused and said that we now owe late fees and short check charges and have to pay by Western Union. When my unemployment check came in, We called them and spoke to JIM COFFEE, who said that he wouldnt put the payment to the end and he would not allow us to pay one month and a half for the next two months to catch up. We asked for forbearance and he said no. We later when we got our income tax check back if they would take that. They said no.
We tried to refinance and no one would touch it. The house is way over appraised. Ocwen filed to foreclose and we filed chapter 13. This is where the fun starts. I called them and spoke to IDIA (the country) OCWEN outsources now. That person (mr. Radnik) Told us that we cannot resume payments to them. I sent the check anyway. THEY HELD IT for almost a whole month and filed for relief from stay of execution on the chapter 13 so that they can foreclose AGAIN. I called the OFFICE of THRIFT Supervison because OCWEN wasnt answering my letters or emails. The OTS was no help at all. I wrote to the president of OCWEN and got no answer. I called the PREMIER support line that OCWEN has and it was no help.
OCWEN withdrew the first motion for relief of stay but refused to admit that they told me not to pay them. Another lady that I spoke to at OCWEN told me that they wont take my checks anymore either. I have to send my regular payment to the courts to have it credited to OCWEN. WRONG!!! They held the last check that I sent them. It was never presented and they filed again for relief from the stay. I cant fight this any more. I didnt rush to wire them cash. The foreclosure sale was 01/21. Now I need someone to file suit on them. I see OCWEN has been in the US SUPREME court for legal actions so I would be out of my league trying to file on them myself. We (family of six) are losing our house.
