Franklin collection service violated the FDCPA and FCRA. They placed accounts on my credit report without first notifying me and also marked all of them on my credit report as being at an attorney's office.
They sent me a first notice for an account for $133 and it also listed 2 other accounts I supposedly owe. I sent them 2 certified letters disputing these debts and asking to recieve signature sheets, promissory notes and etc. Which is my right under the FDCPA. For the 2 older accounts they only sent me computer printouts showing my name and the balance but for the new account; they sent me a letter stating it had not reflected my credit report but when I got a copy of my credit report I noticed it had been placed a month before they sent me the letter stating it wasn't placed. Also, they placed that account on my credit report during my 30 days and after they had received my dispute letter. Then they sent me the verification of the debt about 2 months later but the account had already affected my credit report. And on none of these accounts did they report on my credit report that they were disputed.
Franklin Collection violates every law possible to collect debts that they have in their office and I plan to do whatever possible to get them caught.
