Litton Loan is trying to forclose on my home. On December 22 I sent a payment of $1500.00 on my mortgage payment of $1470.12. So for the only credit I recieved was a $53.00 credit towards an escrow I dont have. Yes you have to fight Litton Loan for months to stop escrows added to your account that you dont need because you've already taken care of business.
In January I sent the next payment of $1500.00 towards the same mortage payment and the 1st of febuary I did the same only to have the last 2 checks mailed back to me with an explanation that my home is under forclosure and they cannot accept the checks. Due to my neglect I did miss November payment, that still puts me oweing February payment, fine. IT'S STILL FEBRUARY!
Litton also informed me when asked that the payment made in December was applied to interest only as I missed a payment. FINE, show me credit for it which you say went for interest only. This payment along wih the 2 checks Litton sent back kept me way out of forclosure. Litton's remedy was for me to send them Nov., Dec., Jan., Feb., payments plus penaltys and attorneys forclosure fees totalling over $10,000.00 that I promtly sent to stop the forclosure. NOW even I can do the math, all that I owed was Feb. Payment not due until the 17th of feb.
THESE PEOPLE TRIED TO FORCE A FORCLOSURE ON MY HOME with no credit on the payment in Dec. (interest that disappears). After reviewing all my payment I now realize Litton Loan likes to take your payment applying the interest to your note 3 to 4 days after cashing your payment and then applying the principal thre to for days after that. On a simple interest loan like mine this mans the longer Litton Loan postpones credits the more interest that adds up.
Every year Litton Loan adds escrows for insurance and taxes that I promptly handle for myself before they are due as Litton triple charges. Litton adds the escrows anyway and charges interst on these escrows that they never remove (the interest). Somebody please stop litton/return my money
