Among other things, servicing agents are responsible for: Collecting payments from customers Working with customers in special situations who may be temporarily unable to make their payments Ensuring payment of all tax and insurance bills Remitting principal and interest collected to the investor Unlike other servicers, Litton is not a "fee for service" company. Litton achieves returns on investments for mortgage loan investors by minimizing losses and keeping our customers in their homes.
