Our loan was sold to Litton Loan. They did not bother telling us they were not escrowing until I got a bill at the end of the year. That bill caused us to dig into house payments to pay taxes and then the late fees started. We sent extra to cover late fees and they stuck the money in a forbearence acct which you cant take out until it becomes a whole payment. Then found out from them 2 years later that "we do escrow"! Now the house is in forclosure and they want a prepayment penalty of $5,600.00 because we are voluntarily selling the house! They take your money and house and still want more!!!
