Mr Peter Rhee said he would save my business money on credit card processing. He told me there was no lease and they give you a free machine. He told me there is only a $69.00 a month service charge for the card transactions. If the card transaction rate was lower than 69.00 I would be charged that rate but never more.
After the first month I started receiving different deductions from my bank account. When questioning these charges I found out I was in a lease and it was sold to First Data Global Leasing. When they faxed me a copy of the supposed lease I found there was a five page lease to which I only have a three page "contract". The two pages I don't have concern the lease. I also saw that he added information to my copies after I signed it. Merchant Lynx is rude and keep saying why did you sign the contract? First Data will say the same thing and refer you to Merchant Lynx and the bounce back and forth continues. Merchant Lynx is also charging me for a warranty on the machine that they aren't leasing to me. I have filed with the Better Business Bureau (useless), the FTC which referred me to the OCC (still waiting) and the Dept of Banking in N J. I have contacted a lawyer and am waiting to see what he thinks. If anyone has luck with these people POST IT!!!
