As stated by my fellow consumers, Merchant Lynx conducts a fraudulent business. I own a small business, where one of their agents came to my store, Peter Rhee, and tried to sell me their c.C. Machine... Saying it has better rates for all credit cards, its easy, and only 29.99 a month - THATS ALL. Nothing was stated about any additional fees, cancellation fees or the length of the contract. He conned me into signing a contract, which I never received a copy of. When I saw the machine it was not the machine the agent described, it is a manual c.C. Machine where you punch in the amounts, I said right then and there I didn't want the machine take it back. The installer said it wasn't his responsibility, he would not take it back. I called the next day to cancel the contract. The customer service were brutal they said you signed the contract you pay. A contract for 48months - I would never in my right mind sign a contract for that long NEVER. They said if you want to cancel, there are fees that exceed over to almost 3,000 dollars-I have never used that machine.
1. I know they fraudulently obtained the contract.
2. Changed the length of the contract after I signed.
3. Send sales agents who lie just to get your money.
- btw they kindly faxed me the contract which was illegible.
I am in the process of filing consumer complaints to the attorney generals of CA, NJ, NY. They have pushed to the point of pursuing legal action in fighting this whole mess.
