I was charged a late fee when my loan was transferred which was fraudulent. My old company stated that my loan was being transferred and I never heard from fairbanks, so I held onto the money which they said was late, but after 6 faxes and talking to 51 different people, and everytime I talked to someone I repeated the other names, initiated them to finally waive the late fee.
When my loan was transferred I had a 15 day grace period, so when my payment is made after the due date, and someone calls, i remind them of the grace period, and they back off.
I also check out my payment status online and if I see a discrepancy, I call them and yell at them, and they do clear it up.
This the work loan company I have dealt with, and I wish there was someone big official who would get the whiff of their fraudulent ways, and close their company.
