Because of the NUMEROUS MONTHLY FEES attached to their regular checking accounts, I changed mine to electronic. This means that I have to do ALL of my banking at a National City Bank ATM. That's fine, as I never went inside anyway. Now I have a new problem. National City Bank's ATMs are FREQUENTLY OUT OF SERVICE!!! And if you have an electronic checking account and go inside to use a teller, the bank CHARGES YOU $3.00!!!
Here are the National City Bank locations where I have been annoyed NUMEROUS times because of encountering "out of service" ATMs:
BOTH branches in New Kensington, PA
Gibsonia, PA branch on Rt 8 near Walmart
Sharpsburg, PA branch
Yesterday (2/6/03) someone taped a note to the ATM at the Gibsonia, PA branch that read: DO NOT USE! Ripped me off for
$90.00!!! That ATM was still out of service today, and so was the one in Sharpsburg.
National City, do you people have ANY idea how F* annoying this is??? I have had it once and for all and am going to be closing my account and taking my money ELSEWHERE!!
