Fraudulent practices victimized many consumers

My mortgage loan was transferred from NationsCredit to Fairbanks with the first payment due on April 1st to Fairbanks. I mailed the payment on March 29th, plenty of time to post before the April 15th late date.

Fairbanks held my check and didn't post until April 17th, just in time to incur the late fee. I've since learned that this is a common practice for them. I went online to research them and found so many horror stories, I am afraid I'm in for a very bumpy ride, here
