Capital one raised my intrest rate without notifing me. I did a payment transfere from another card to pay them off and close my acct. After the transfere I still owed arround $200.00 * (Some of which was charges I made) some fees. I called and finally got a person (Sonya IP32) and told her I wanted to completely close My acct. After she saw she could not talk me out of it she said she would do a balance transfere from my bank and close the acct. They had my bank info on record because I paid on line. She did not close my acct but charged me another $10.00 for"capitalpay transaction". I called back and found out By recording, that if I paid that $10.00, I would be charged anothe $10.00. I finally got a person on the phone who did not speak good english and could not understand what he was trying to tell me.
