I too am a victim of Ameriquest Mortgage. The Los Angeles loan executive there told my husband one thing and then did something else. It almost broke up our marriage. We were charged a "discount fee" even though the rate was much higher than what we could have found with a broker.
We saw a post where some law firm was going after them from New Orleans and we called and they were not. But if you are in California and got hit with big fees from Ameriquest after 2002 I think a firm called Engstrom Lipscomb and Lack are going after them. WE watched the superbowl and were stunned that this company is now advertising like they are the second coming with a phrase like "You Are More". We were more to Ameriquest... About $10,000 more than we should have paid. I hope this helps a few of you at least you in California.
