It looks like soon we will be free of Ameriquest. Yes, we will have to pay the pre-payment, but some of it is tax deductible if not all. We are getting a much better interest rate than Ameriquest could or would ever give us, and we will be saving $500.00 a month.
Ameriquest has caught a clue that we are refinancing, and when they are not bothering me with promises of how Ameriquest will make me a better offer, they are calling my husband promising the same thing. This last week alone they have called us a total of 7 times, they have left messages on our answering machine, and they sound pretty desperate. I hope there is enough information on this particular website so that people researching Ameriquest will not do business with them.
For those that are, see about refinancing with another company, yes, you will have to pay that pre-payment, but ask your tax advisor whether or not you can write it off. Just get out and run, run, run. For those of you that have an impound account for Property Taxes, cancel it and save the money yourself.instead of Ameriquest keeping your money, and screwing it up, you might as well save it and earn interest on it, even if it's only 1%.
