I checked and the Los Angeles Law Firm of Engstrom Lipscomb & Lack are going after Ameriquest but their victims need to be from California and they need to have been over-charged after 2002. Thats great for those of you in rain soaked California if you did your deal after 2002... You can call the firm and maybe get your money back... But what about the rest of us? Where are the attorney generals or the feds? There are hundreds of posts here from people all over the country. We were given a much higher interest rate than we could have received at our bank... This guy called... Led us along and all of a sudden we were stuck / pressured into this mortgage we did not really want or need. We are two months away from being able to refinance out... After three years of being ripped-off by this hideous company. Funny I saw where Ameriquest was the biggest contributer to the Bush swearing in gala just held in Washington DC. What a surprise... Class action reform just got passed by both house & senate two weeks later. Apparently now its much harder to get a class action. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
