Ripoff, bad customer service

I was billed with Credit Inform from CapitalOne in April. I called and cancelled in late April, but was still billed for May, June, July. I called again to RE-CANCELLED. I was credited 14.95 for the 3 months that I was billed.

I looked at my bill again, and I was re-billed for August, September, and October. I had to RE-RE-CANCELLED again.

I told the new representative that I want to be accredited my 3 months. She said she could only accredit 1 month. I told her no, i want all 3 months. She put me on hold, and came back apologizing for the miscommunication. Turns out the last representative I talked to (whom was supposed to CANCEL it) didn't really cancel my subscription. So I was accredited 14.95 AGAIN.

This time I got the representative's NAME, EXTENSION #, and the CANCELLATION CONFIRMATION #. I told her if i get billed again, I'm going to refer whomever to her. She said that it will not happen again. I told her that that is exactly what the other representative said.

I hope the readers can learn something from this. DO NOT SUBCRIBE TO ANYTHING FROM CAPITALONE, esp CREDIT INFORM.
And besides, they charge an annual fee (when other credit card company does not).
