Ripoff dishonest shady fraudulent billing horrible customer service skills

I just recently become a customer of westlake Financial Services. I have bad credit, and this is how I became affiliated with this company. My next paragraph is for all of you who will read this at Westlake financial and begin with your arrogant and condescending remakrs about people with bad credit.

This is does not mean I am a bad person, nor does it give anyone the right to pre-judge, mistreat, or rip me off. And furthermore, you should not assume that people have bad credit because they are lazy, or careless about their money. You may have great credit today as I did, and you may lose your well paying job the next day in this economy, and your bills will still come in the same, and like you arrogant and rude people at WSF, the bill collectors are not interested in hearing your problems.

Savings run out quickly when you are out of work for 3 months, due to an economy that is not doing well and job cutbacks. I fell upon hard times when I got deathly ill, and paid hospital and emergency bills. You never know what it will be that will end your perfect history so think of the Phil Collins song - "Think twice, because it's another day for you and me in paradise"

Getting back to WFS, I mailed them a payment out November 5th. I get a call a week later, asking me did I send the payment. I told the young lady, Wendy, that I was glad she called because I was going to call her to make sure they had recieved it. I am trying to rebuild my credit, so I'm not taking any chances of the payment not being posted on time.
I also told Wendy, that they never sent me a statement in the mail, so I made my own invoice with my account number on it, my name In huge bold letters, and my acount number on it in huge bold letters too. I made a copy of the check, the stamped envelope and the invoice, stapled them together and put it in my file for my records. I trust no one anymore as this world has become heartless, cold, and money hungry.

My payment is due on the 14th of November and I am writing this report on November 13. So I am still early. I will also point out that I called all day Friday, November 12, too make sure my check was received.

I hate calling WFS because they have the rudest, and most ignorant CSR's I have ever dealt with. I will not even get into their lack of training here, but I will say that they do not represent themselves well at all. Learn how to speak well and conduct business!

After litterally being on hold on my cell phone for 5 minutes, The CSR came back on and asked for my account info. I gave her my info and told her I was checking the status of my check. She told me it was not recieved and then she transfered me to another department that would "handle my problem". Long story made short, I was passed around several times.

I spoke to 15 different reps that day. I was not going to have these people tell me my payment was late! Every person I spoke to told me something different. One rep told me to stop payment on the check and send another-this would make me late because it was already the 12th. Another rep told me to leave the check that I sent in place, and they will post it when they get it, and "don't I know that the mail takes 5 days to arrive"-yes stupid, that's why I sent it out on the 5th to allow ample time for it to arrive and be posted.

Another rep told me that I could not do a payment over the phone because I was a new customer. I was also told that I could not send it online at their account servicing center because I was new. I asked the girl did they want my payment, or not? How do you except payment.

By mail, I was told again... Well I sent the check by mail on the 5th and that was over 5 days. They claim they never got it. I verified the address using the copy of the stamped envelope I used to send my payment in, to make sure that the address I sent it to was correct. The CSR said that it was correct. The postage was correct too. I think my check is sitting on someones desk, carelessly tossed aside, or they have been goofing around and not doing their jobs.

I have since sent another payment on the 13th (Saturday) through Western Union. I have made a copy, have a copy in my email from Western Union, and I amd faxing these fools a copy on Monday morning. Then I am making a copy of the fax transmission to send them and keep on my file so that I know they have it.

This is my first payment, and if I run into any of the problems I have seen here on RIP OFF REPORTS, I will have all of my paperwork in tact and I am already researching good lawyers to handle my case if need be. I want WSF to know that they got the wrong one this time!
I am also filing a report with FTC, and calling our channel major network news stations to see if they will look into the stuff seen here for me. I have made a copy of all of the reports on this company seen here for my records.

Why is it ok in America to treat poor people like dirt and prey on them by charging rates you know they cannot afford? How is this right? We have got to stop living like victims and write our elected officails and speak up loud and clear every chance we get.
