Misleading - direct tv hd dvr box

I am a direct victim. 5 years ago…I purchased a directv dvr at a goodwill store for 10.00.. I tried to add it to my existing service. The rep said something is wrong with the dvr and directv will send a replacement at no charge. I was very happy. Later my home was robbed and the dvr was stolen. Directv said I owe them 550.00. I had no idea that I would be entering into a agreement like that. I tried talking to your reps but they don’t even listen. Most wont even let me speak to a manager. They feel I am a thief. Recently my wife was in a store and a directv rep approached her. She explained the problem to him. He made a call and said she can get it in her name. We paid 127.27 to get a installation date. Directv just kept the money.

I don’t believe anyone at directv would pay 550.00 for this trickery. And for a large company to take our money in these times is horrible. I don’t know what happened to your company but I do believe in Karma. I hope consumers start treating you like you treat them.
