We like Directv. We subscribed because there are 4 TV stations where we live and no cable.installation was flawless. Customer service has been excellent as we learned to use the equipment. So what's the problem? We were excited to have access to movies, and this is a direct quote from the website: "DIRECTV on demand offers 7,000 TV shows & movies at no extra charge. Catch up on missed episodes or watch a Hollywood hit at home with DIRECTV on demand." That really means TV shows because the movies are NEARLY ALL on the premium channels to which you must subscribe or pay $5.99 to watch. I believed what I read on the website and what the before-the-sale reps told me. Silly me. So, buyer beware. Know what you want, and ask the right questions.
