On the phone, Petco East Brunswick quoted me $48 for my 7 pound Maltese. When I went there, they told me $62. They also shaved all the hair off my dog even though I told them never to shave him due to his sensitive skin.
I brought up the issue to the manager after I saw the dog, and he told me there was nothing he could do. My dog was sick after the groomer shaved his hair. He was very upset for about a month, until the hair started to grow back.
I called the corporate customer service line, and they told me there was nothing they could do either. Never, never bring your dog for grooming at Petco, please. They are going to hurt your dog, and after all this happens you still have to pay whatever amounts they tell you to pay...
