On Fr. April 18 I had an appt. To get my Old English Sheepdog Groomed. It is only on this Friday because I was blown off the preivious friday because of the "groomer" being ill. When my wife showed up at 7:15 am she had to wait outside untill 7:30 am as Petco does not allow employees to clock in early. She then took the dog in and the supposedly "professional Groomer" refused to groom the dog stating the "job was too big" for them to handle and the dogs hair was matted. My wife then called me and brought the dog home after losing an hour of work for this.
I called the "groomer" and asked why they were not working on my dog, and was told the same thing. I then asked if she was a "professional" and what her job was and was given excuse after excuse. I then told her I would be on the phone with corporate within 25 minutes to complain, and told her that she was in no way a "professional".
So this "groomer" called and DELIBERATLY lied to corporate stating that profanities were used on her. This was done only to protect her job. AT NO TIME WERE PROFANITIES WERE USED! When wy wife called customer service to complain they were more concerned over the "groomers" call than the customer that was treated lousy.
If you care about your pet (and I am sure you do) AVOID PETCO FOR ANY REASON YOU CAN THINK OF! All they want to do is sell you over priced items for your pet, not help keep them healthy
