Hope you like an adventure. Time Warner service is fine until you have a problem. Their customer service is an absolute joke!!! My cable TV started popping and the screen flashing on each TV. I was unable to watch. I contacted Time Warner who said there was no service issue in the area. They would send a tech out in 8 days! Eight days! After a couple of days, the service was corrected with no tech looking at the issue. The day before they were suppose to show up at my house, Customer Service called to tell me the issue was a service issue in the area and no one would be onsite the following day. Im in the process of moving, I scheduled to have Time Warner installed at the new place. I contacted them a couple of weeks later and was told my appointment had been changed to 4 days later. Their techs were not working that weekend so they rescheduled my appointment without contacting me. I was told by Customer Service that they were sure someone would have contacted me in a week or two. So they rescheduled my appointment and never contacted me to see if they new day would work for me. At this point, I contacted AT&T to have the service installed. I refuse to pay for services with a company who has absolutely no consideration for their customers. AT&T attemped to acquire my existing telephone number but Time Warner refused it. I contacted Customer Service who said they have no way of knowing why it was refused and offered no additional help. I had AT&T assign a new number. It's not worth the trouble of dealing with Time Warner. Four days before my move, my telephone service went out. I contacted Customer Service who indicated my modem (installed a month ago) had gone out. I was told I would have to take it to a "Service Center" and gave me the wrong address. I contacted Customer Service again to get the telephone number for the Service Center so I could locate the office. I was told that the Service Centers do not have a telephone. Great Service Center - huh? I finally located the service center 30 mins away from the address I was given. I was told they were open for 8-6 M-F. I arrived at 5:55 to find the doors locked and the lights turned off. I went back the following day and they were actually open. Whoo Hoo - right? Wrong! I was told at the service center that there was not an issue with the modem. Their Provision Center had turned the telephone service off since it was coming up for a disconnect in 3 days! What the hell? They are charging me for the service but disconnected it!!! They did reconnect the service but I spent 2 hours of my time traveling to and from the service center plus the time and frustration on the phone with Customer Service. This is typical of the way Time Warner takes care of their customers. All of this happened within the past month! Great Customer Service - what a joke! If you like adventure, sign up for Time Warner Service. They will be happy to take you on an adventure! Hold on for a bumpy ride! And get ready when you call customer service. The Customer Service Reps obviously are graded by the "survey" that you will get following the call. They basically BEG you to leave good comments on the survey. I can not get away from this company fast enough. The only words that I can say are: NEVER AGAIN!!!
