My wife and I purchased a Samsung 46" LCD HDTV from Best Buy. No we didn't get the extra warranty. Yes we thought that since the TV was good enough to last more than a year or two or ten. Whoa be to us. The Samsung repair center that they use in Abilene Texas told us after we took the TV in for a quote that Samsung is one of the worst TV's you can buy and they are also hard to get parts for. I called Samsung to see if we could get some help on this repair or took a chance on seeing if we could get a replacement TV. No luck they would not help and really did not want to talk to us. This is why I'm sending this note out. The TV we purchased was approx. $2000 and we set up some credit of which we have to pay with no TV. The repairs alone are $1300 which we do not have. This TV should last more than 14 months. Is anyone out there that could pass this along to Best Buy and Samsung. People need to hear about this. I probably won't buy another thing from Best Buy and I'm debating not paying this bill off.
