I bought a Samsung TV 46" a year ago, model LN46B610 and was manufactured and released in May. It has a 1 yr warranty. My TV suddenly started displaying Red to Green Horizontal lines hovering from left to right of the screen. Other Samsung Customers apparently have experienced these symptoms with their LCD TVs as well. I called Samsung and told that I was out of luck because my warranty expired last June. Even though the TV was barely used and that LCD Panels from Samsung are suppose to have a longer life than 1.5 years, they still break down and charge you for repairing it even though it's a manufacturer's issue. The cost of repair costs more than what I paid for the TV. So I'm stuck with a giant broken TV.
