After having a new cable box installed it wasn't long after that it, too, began to malfunction. Each time I called customer service, they happily rebooted the box which enabled it to work correctly for a short period before needing to be rebooted again. Finally, after the third call the lady on the phone offered to send me a new box to swap out. I was reluctant to do this beacuse I didn't want to deal with uninstalling and installing the boxes. When the new box and cables arrived along with the book of instuctions, I called to ask that a technician come to do the install. I was told it would involve a charge. I was stunned that Time Warner won't fix their own faulty equipment without asking the customer to pay for the install. Just another example of poor service (fix it yourself, customer) and high monthly fees. I guess it's time to look for another cable provider.
