On Charter online bill pay, you apparently need to download the pdf of your bill to know whether it will process your auto pay. This, despite the fact that on my Account Summary screen a week BEFORE my bill was due, I clearly see the phrase "Your Auto Pay will be Processed" followed by the amount of my monthly bill. So like any reasonable and rational human being, I understand that to mean that it will process that amount from the account I set up for Auto Pay. Apparently not the case, and now Charter gets a free $8 late fee from me for doing nothing but a terrible job designing their web site.
