Please keep in mind, we are a painting and carpet cleaning company that relies heavily on internet for work, and communication between our employees.
We have ResNet (a local internet company). Even though we have signed with DishNet for internet, it is so inconsistent, that we have not gotten rid of ResNet, because we must have internet for work.
12-14-12 I took half day off work for install of internet. No one showed up, no one called. (I lost about $100 worth of work)
12-18-12, I take another half day off work for internet install. Supposed to be here between 8 - 12pm. A tech finally called about 12:30, and showed up about 1:00. Did not have the install done until 6:00 pm. (I lost about $200 worth of work) They left without the internet working, and would schedule yet another day for a tech to come out and fix it.
12-26-12, No tech shows up, no one calls. I missed another half day of work. (another $100)
12-30-12, A tech calls and says they are waiting at our house... There was no appointment, they just showed up, because they missed the appointment 4 days earlier! I rush home. The tech was GREAT. Finally got the internet working. EXTREMELY SLOW! He said will get faster in a few hours or day of time.
1-3-13, Internet not working at all. On the occasional time it does work, it is extremely slow. Speed tests show download speeds of 1.5mb. Tech support said they would give us a 'pro rated' charge and subtract $46. Set yet another appointment for a tech. Have to keep using ResNet for internet.
1-7-13, (I had day off, so no missed work) Techs show up, (they were very nice) Readjusted satellite. Still running very slow! (the techs see with their own eyes that it take 30 - 40 seconds to download a single page!) They say there is nothing they can do. Have to plug ResNet back in to have internet.
1-8-13, Not working. Have to unplug and reset. Very slow!
1-9-13, Taking over 2 min to down load pages. Not working, again have to unplug and reset, works but very slow! Have to plug ResNet back in to have internet.
1-10-13, Not working, unplug and reset. Still not working. Have to plug ResNet back in, so we have internet.
1-11-13, Same thing, have to plug ResNet back in to have internet.
1-12-13, Same thing, have to plug ResNet back in to have internet.
1-20-13, No internet, had to plug ResNet back in to have internet.
1-21-13, No internet, called Dish. Set yet ANOTHER appointment for a tech to come out. Still using ResNet to have consistent internet.
