I'm a college student that need every penny I have. I have a cell phone so there was no need for me to have a house phone, so I decided to get cable internet. Big mistake!

I have a few online classes, so internet at home is very important. First, they came out and set-up no hassle, no problem and it worked fine for what, a week! I called and Comcast told me the moldem I had was about 2yrs old and I need to go to a Comcast store (which was 30mins away) to get an upgrade, problem #1.

Of course I go the new moldem and it worked for like maybe two week. Then it went out yet again, I called and they couldn't fix the problem, so they sent a tech a few days later. Meanwhile, here I am taking classes online and having to stay late at school for internet. The first and second tech never showed up and finally the third tech came out and told me that my was splitter bad, Problem #2.

I of course I bought a brand new splitter and my internet still didn't work. All this happened over a two month spand. TWO MONTHS! Don't you know they had the nerve to bill me for those two months that I went without having service. So me being the college student that I am I called and demanded that take those charges off my bill, after fussing with different reps and managers, they finally credit me for two months, Problem #3.

A month, later I had no problems, I decided not to take online class, because now I know that cable internet isn't dependable as I though. Problem #4, on 8/10, I wanted to use the internet that I was paying for, and once again I didn't have a signal. I called and they took me through the check list, you the list they tell you to do everytime you call about the internet. And you know, it didn't work.

So once again a tech was "scheduled" to come out that Saturday between the hours of 11am and 2pm. I planed to be there, I even called several times and they told me that the rep was on his way. I called at 2 o'clock on the dot, and the rep told me that the tech was running late.

I called at 5pm to inform Comcast that the tech never showed up. They told me that the tech came and no one was at home. Let me remind you, I was home never left and called Comcast, almost every thirty mins, to find out when the tech was coming. So, someone was lying and I wasn't me, I did my part, it was comcast who didn't hold their end up.

The next available appointment was tues, a friend of my came to visit, so I agreed to the appointment. This time they actually showed up and fixed the problem on 8/16. On 8/23, I came home from work wanting to surf the net again, and of course it wasn't working. I even tried to plug the cable for the internet directly into the wall for a FULL signal and went through the comcast check list before I called. When I finally called the rep told me it was my ipconfig address and I needed to call my computer manufacture, problem #5.

I called and they told me that my ipconfig address was given to my by Comcast. Once again I called Comcast and gave the run around, and made up different excuses on why my internet, that I pay $50 a month for, is out yet AGAIN!!!

After I told the rep to disconnet my internet she all of a sudden found an opening for a tech to come out. But I refused and went though the disconnection process. Now, they are refusing to refund my $94.29 that I paid on 8/08. Comcast is the only internet service in the Atlanta area. Crazy huh?
